VideoVault ("we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy explains how we access, use, store, and share Google user data when you use our Google Drive integration.

2. Access to Google User Data

When you grant VideoVault access to your Google Drive, we access the following personal information:

  • Google Account Information: Your email address and profile information to identify your account.
  • Drive Access: We request access to see, edit, create, and delete only the specific files you use with this app (`drive.file` scope). We do not access your entire Drive storage.

3. How We Use Google User Data

We use the data we access strictly to provide the synchronization service:

  • Uploading: To upload your video files from VideoVault to your secure Google Drive folder.
  • Management: To organize the files we create (e.g., creating folders).
  • Authentication: To verify your identity and maintain a secure session.

We do not use your Google user data for advertising, surveillance, or any other purpose not explicitly related to the app's functionality.

4. Storage and Security

Your OAuth tokens (Access and Refresh tokens) are encrypted at rest using industry-standard AES-256 encryption. We store these tokens solely to maintain your connection to Google Drive without requiring frequent re-logins.

5. Sharing of Google User Data

We do not transfer or share your Google user data with any third parties, except as required by law. We do not sell your data.

6. Limited Use Disclosure

VideoVault's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

7. Data Removal and Revocation

You can revoke VideoVault's access to your Google Drive at any time via your Google Account security settings. Upon revocation or account deletion request, we will permanently delete all stored tokens associated with your account.
